A Storage Area Network Solution

The department of Information Technology has been evaluating a storage area network (SAN) solution to address the growing storage requirements of students, faculty and staff and provide a means for disaster recovery. Over the summer a Dell/EMC storage area network made up of 3 TB storage modules was installed for initial use with WebCT, Pipeline, Mail, network file shares, Banner, and backups.
