Wireless Computing Initiative

The Department of Information Technology is pleased to announce plans for the deployment of wireless network access on all four CCRI campuses.  CCRI's wireless computing initiative is supported by funding from the CCRI Foundation and Governor Carcieri’s STEM initiatives. 

Wireless access will enhance the learning environment for students, faculty and staff by providing connectivity to electronic resources from anywhere on campus. Moreover, students with laptops will have the opportunity to improve their academic and study skills while collaborating more effectively in groups, thus enhancing learning outside of the classroom.
