Preventing Viruses in the Computer Labs

Norton Antivirus:

All computers in the academic computing labs are protected from viruses with the Norton AntiVirus V 5.0 software. Norton Antivirus updates are done automatically at 10:00 a.m. everyday.

Windows Critical Updates:

Lab computers are configured to check for critical windows system updates everyday at 7:00 a.m and download if available.

MS Office Updates and Patches:

Unless there is a security issue involved these updates will take place during the semester breaks.

If you have a problem with viruses in the lab or have an infected diskette, please check with the staff person on duty.
