Study of Students and Information Technology 2006
CCRI students participated in the Educause Center for Applied Research (ECAR) Study of Students and Information Technology 2006. This study received responses from more than 28,000 students at 96 institutions. We thought you might be interested in the responses from CCRI students however you may also view the full ECAR report.
Please refer to the ECAR survey instrument which will help you to interpret the CCRI findings. For example, if the number of students in total or freshmen and seniors who responded at an institution number under 100, the sample may be too low for an accurate reading. If a student population does not include business or engineering students, the scores on many questions will be lower than average. This is not good or bad; it is simply a reality that these majors rate their skills higher than other majors and have a higher preference for technology in courses.
