Adding a randomized question set to a quiz or exam

Designers can, for example, add 20 questions to a question set and then set up the quiz so that students are only required to answer 5 of the questions from the question set. The questions will be picked randomly from the question set so that the students will answer different combinations of questions when doing the quiz. The designer must make sure that questions added to a question set are the same level of difficulty. If you are covering multiple topics in an exam and would like to make sure all students are answering questions from each topic area then you would add a question set for each topic area and then choose how many questions should be answered for each topic. You will see each topic area come up as a separate set in the exam.

1.     Once you’ve created the exam it is now time to add your questions from each chapter or topic.

2.     Click on the Add question set button.
