Playing a Music CD Using the PC

In classrooms with PCs you can use the PC  to play a music CD.

  1. Turn on the PC.
  2. Insert the CD into the CD drive on the computer. 
  3. Windows Media Player should launch automatically.  If it does not, double-click on the shortcut to My Computer on the desktop.  Double-click on the icon for the CD drive, then click on  the track that you wish to play to open it in Windows Media Player.
  4. Select the Play button in Windows Media Player to play the CD.  Use the Stop button to stop the CD.
  5. Use the volume controls on the PC speakers to raise or lower the volume.
