Equipment Loan Policies

Equipment for Classroom Use

Reservations for equipment may be made by telephone or by completing the on-line form.  Please check our Classroom Technology Documentation page to see the list of available equipment located in each room.

Delivery and pick-up of equipment will be provided if a request is made 24 hours in advance. Requests received in less than 24 hours will be considered providing both equipment and staff are available. If above policies are not adhered to, faculty members will be responsible for picking up and returning equipment.

Students needing equipment for classroom presentations must request it through their instructor.

Any equipment requested which is not needed due to sickness or change in lesson plan, should be cancelled as soon as possible.

Due to the high volume of usage, requests are honored on a first come, first serve basis. Faculty are encouraged to make requests as soon as possible before the beginning of each semester.

Equipment for Off-Campus Use

Equipment may be available for off-campus use providing it is not scheduled for classroom use. Check with each campus on availability of items. Equipment may be borrowed for academic or school related use only.

Advance notice (1 -2 days) is recommended prior to scheduled use.

Equipment must be picked up by faculty or staff during normal hours of operation.

Faculty and/or staff are responsible for equipment in their possession which may be lost, stolen or damaged.
