Creating a Picture Gallery in FrontPage
Have you ever wished to display a series of pictures on your website or perhaps create student profiles with photos for your class? There's an easy way to deal with this in Microsoft FrontPage. In FrontPage a picture gallery can be inserted into your website with caption or student information. Student profiles can be used to foster a sense of community within your class or simply to display images that relate to course work.
To Insert a Picture Gallery
- In Microsoft FrontPage from the Insert menu choose Picture,
New Photo Gallery.

- In the Photo Gallery Properties box click Add, Pictures
from Files and browse to find your gallery images.

- Select the images to add to your gallery. Holding the shift key
down while selecting the images will allow you to insert multiple images
at one time.

- Select an individual image by picture title at left and type a caption
and description below. This can also be used to add a student
profile should you decide to add photos of your students. The picture
order can be changed with the Move Up and Move Down buttons
after selecting an image.

- When you have finished with the captions and descriptions click the Layout tab and choose the layout that best suits your collection of images. The Montage Layout does not display descriptions.
