Technology Tip of the Week - June 5, 2006
Viewing Class Grades in Pipeline
Once a grading period has ended, faculty can still view the grades they've recorded for their students by accessing their Summary Class List. To see (but not alter) the grades for a class in Pipeline:
Log in to your Pipeline account
Click on the For Faculty tab
Click on the Term Selection link and select the term you wish to view (e.g. Spring 2006) and click on the Submit button
Click on the Summary Class List link
Select your course from the drop-down list and click on the Submit button
Scroll down and you will see your class roster with the accompanying Midterm and Final grades listed
Printing Your Roster with Grades
To print this list:
Click in front of the Record Number label at the top of the table.
Hold your mouse button down and drag across all the columns and then down to the last student row to select all the names and grades. Release the mouse button.
With the names still selected, click on the File - Print option from the menu bar at the top of the window and then click next to Selection. Click on the Print button.

Active Learning with Technology at http://clte.asu.edu/clteworkshops/
Arizona State University Center for Learning and Teaching Excellence has
designed a wonderful set of strategies to promote active learning with technology.
Browse through their tutorials on: Constructing an Online Syllabus; Using
PowerPoint Better; Promoting Critical Thinking in Discussion Forums; Pajama
Research on the Web; and Assessment in E-learning Environments. Each module
is set up with models and how-to steps for creating your own products. This
would be a great way to spend a rainy day!
