PRESENTATION GUIDE
For files to show up in your Student Presentation group folder you must have two documents:
- A document saved as a web page named that contains a Table of Contents that links to your file(s).
- Your individual document file(s)
To create a Table of Contents page to display files to the class in WebCT 3.5:
- Open Microsoft Word
- Choose File New.. - Blank Document – OK
- Type in first line: TABLE OF CONTENTS and press the Enter key
- Type in the name of a file you wish to display to the class (for example: Assignment 1)
- Highlight the name of the file by dragging over it with your mouse (the name of the file should now be highlighted in black)
- With the name of the file highlighted, click on Insert-Hyperlink…
- Under Type the file or Web page name: type in the name of your file (should not have any spaces in the name of the file) and press OK

- Add any additional files you wish to display by repeating steps 4-7
- Save the file as a web page by choosing: File – Save As…
- Type in your File name as: index.htm
- Under Save as Type: choose Web Page (.htm, .html) and click on the Save button

Upload this file to your Student Presentation folder in WebCT . (Note: The documents you have linked to in your index.htm file should also be uploaded to your file manager.)
