Deleting an Event in a Course Calendar

Any event that is added to a course calendar can be easily removed. There are a couple of approaches that can be used to delete an event.

First Approach

Step 1

Go to the specific day and click on the link to the event..

A dialogue box appears with all the specific information about the event. It is the same box used to enter information when scheduling the event.

You may edit any information from this screen or completely delete the event.

To remove the event from your course calendar, simply click on the Delete button located at the bottom left corner of the dialogue box.

A small dialogue box now appears asking to confirm deleting the event.

Click on OK to complete the deletion.

The second way to delete an event in Calendar is just as simple.

Second Approach

Step 1

Go to a specific day and look for the small  icon located under or beside the event entry.

Click once on the icon  . Once again a small dialogue box appears, as in step 4 above, confirming that you are about  to delete the selected event.

Click on OK to complete the deletion.
