Synching Your Outlook Calendar with Your Pipeline Calendar - Part I
If you have been using Microsoft Outlook to track your appointments you
may now copy that information directly to your Pipeline
Calendar in
one easy step.
In order to perform this function, you must first install a little program in Outlook. This is a one-time installation and takes only a few minutes

Step 1Open Internet Explorer |

Step 2Type in the address: http://it.ccri.edu/Documentation/pipeline/sunonesync.exe and press the Enter key.

Step 3A dialogue box will come up asking if you wish to Open or Save the file. Choose the Open option.

Step 4You will see the installation files being set up on your computer.

Step 5The Sun ONE installation will start. Click on the Next button to continue

Step 6On the License Agreement screen click on the Yes button

Step 7Type in your name and Community College of Rhode Island and click on Next
|

Step 8Click on Next to accept the default Destination Folder
|

Step 9Click next to the component(s) you wish to add. Most users will just select Microsoft Outlook 98/2000 (also applies to Outlook 2002 (XP). (Note: for those users who have Palm or Pocket PC devices - it is preferable to continue to sync them with Outlook and then sync Outlook with Pipeline.) Click on Next

Step 10You will see the installation begin.

Step 11When it has been completed, click on the Finish button.

Almost done! You just have to complete the configuration in Outlook.
