Create your MyCCRI Account
Members of the CCRI community can create their MyCCRI account by going to the Create Your MyCCRI Account form and entering their last name, CCRI ID or 9-digit Social Security number, birth date, a password of their choice and to verify it. The password can be alpha numeric with a minimum length of 6 characters and a maximum length of 20 characters. We recommend that everyone change their password frequently to keep their account safe from intruders.
Logging into your MyCCRI account for the first time
Return to the MyCCRI Secure Access login page and enter your User Name and your password. After you login to MyCCRI for the first time, you will be required to choose a security question and enter an answer up to 30 characters long.
The purpose of setting a security question and answer is if you forget your password, you can reset it yourself by choosing Password Reset from the MyCCRI Login page without waiting and calling for assistance.
Finding your User Name for an existing account
If you are prompted with a message that your account exits, please visit the MyCCRI Username lookup page located online through the How to Look-up your username link. You will be prompted for your ID Number and initial 6-digit password.
- At the ID Number prompt please enter either your CCRI ID or your Social Security number.
- The default password is the user's date of birth in the format of mmddyy. If you created your account the password is the one you chose when you created it. If you do not remember your initial password, you will need to call the Help Desk at 825-1112.
- Press the Look Up button to process your inquiry. If you make a mistake, please click the Clear button and start over.
- Your MyCCRI username, CCRI ID number and CCRI email address will be returned. Use your MyCCRI user name and password to login to MyCCRI, myccri.ccri.edu. If you have questions about retrieving your username, please contact the Help Desk at 825- 1112.
Username Convention
The MyCCRI naming convention is a combination of first initial, middle initial and last name (ie: jjsmith). The first duplicate of a username would have a number appended (ie: jjsmith1). The maximum username length is 12 characters. Last names are truncated in order to fit the 12 character limit.

How to Change Your Initial Password
For security reasons, you should change your password as soon as you
first login to MyCCRI.
To do that,
- Login to your MyCCRI account.
- Go to the My Info tab.
- Choose Change Password
Follow the instructions and click Change Password when done.
It is important you choose your password carefully. Choose one you will remember that is not so easily guessed by others.
*Note that your new password should be alpha numeric with a minimum length of 6 characters and a maximum length of 20 characters.
