What to do when a file is already checked-out
What is Source Control?
Source control (a.k.a. check-in/check-out
) is a feature of
FrontPage 2003, that prevents conflicts with documents that several
people have access to. With source
control being active, only one user can check-out a file at a time. Once
the file is checked-out, it is marked, and only that user can access
that file to modify it. When a developer finishes modifying
a
file, it is important that the file is checked-in to allow other
developers to
make changes to it or for the web manager to be able to publish it.
