Uploading images to be edited

The tutorial below refers to the use of a form which you may not have on your site at this time.  If you do not have a copy of the, "form_file_upload.html" file on your site, please email: jkirby@ccri.edu to have one placed in your web. Please include the URL of the site(s) in your e-mail.

Step 1

Open FrontPage, open your site, then:

  1. Right-click on the file called: "form_file_upload.html" (if you do not see a copy of that file, e-mail jkirby@ccri.edu to have one placed in your web. Please include the URL of the site(s) in your e-mail.
  2. From the fly-out menu select, "Preview in Browser"
Step 2

Click the Browse button.

Step 3
  1. Navigate to the location of your image on your computer, (disk, flash drive, dept. share drive, etc.)
  2. Click on the file you want to upload
  3. Click Open.
Step 4
  1. Note that the path to the file you're uploading is in the first field.
  2. Preview the page onto which the edited image file is to be placed in a browser, copy the URL from the browser and paste it into the second field on the file upload form.
  3. Note any particulars about placement on the page, etc. in the "Notes..." field.
  4. Click the Submit button.

Please Note: the first two fields are required and must be filled-out in order for the form to work.  The "Notes..." field is optional but any relevant information would be appreciated.

Step 5

A login box will appear asking you to login to your site again. 

Enter:

  1. campus\(your user name)
  2. Your  password
  3. Click OK.
Step 6

Your browser will then go to a confirmation page thanking you for submitting your information and detailing what was submitted, where it was sent and displaying the notes you may have written.

If you wish to submit more than one image for editing, click "Return to the form." and complete the process over again.
