Signature Footer

Good web page design dictates that every page should contain basic information identifying the author of the page as well as a link to the hosting institution and data on when the page was last modified. A sample footer is included in your faculty web folder called ssi-footer-2005.htm. Double-click on this file to open it and customize it to fit your name and email address. If you have elected to use the faculty template, index.shtml, this file will be automatically added to bottom of your page when it is viewed in the browser. If you have created your own home page named index.htm you can copy-paste it into the bottom row of your page. The links are already included on the CCRI logo and identifying text and the "page last modified line" is coded to automatically update every time you edit your page.

You may also delete the CCRI logo if it does not match your color scheme (there is already a text link back to CCRI).

To customize the e-mail hyperlink in the footer:

Drag over the username@ccri.edu link and select Insert - Hyperlink. Delete the sample text username and type in your own username. Click on OK.
