Planning Your First Faculty Web Page

The success of any project depends on good planning. It helps to think about the types of information you would like to make available to your students. Print out this page and pencil in the content you want to include. Feel free to add additional categories. (How do I print  this page?) You can include as much or as little information as you'd like.  This chart will become the blueprint for your page.

Note:  Good web design dictates that a web page:

Is no more than one to two screens deep - Why?

Contains short chunks of information categorized with easy-to-understand subheadings  - Why?

Includes a signature footer
