Opening Your Web in FrontPage
Open FrontPage
Choose File from the menu bar
Select Open Web... or Open Site.... (depending on version)
Next to Folder Name: at the bottom of the window type in:
http://faculty.ccri.edu/yourusername
(where yourusername is the username you were given when you
applied for your domain account - usually your Pipeline username. If you do not remember what your
username is, please call the Help Desk at 825-1112.)
Click on the grey Open button at the bottom of the window.
A dialogue box will appear asking for your username and password. You would use the following format (substituting your own username and password for yourusername and yourpassword):
Username: campus\yourusername
Password: yourpassword
Click OK
You should see your file(s) open up from your web folder. (Note that FrontPage automatically includes two empty folders in every web called images and _private.)
If you do not see any files when your web opens, choose View - Folder List from the menu bar.
*Note: If you do not have FrontPage on your office computer, please call the Help Desk at 825-1112 and request the installation. Through the Microsoft Campus Agreement, faculty can also obtain a copy of this program from the Circulation Desks in our libraries and install it at home. Note that for Microsoft Office 2003 that FrontPage has its own CD that is loaded separately.
