Hyperlink to an E-mail Form

You can create a link that opens a reader’s e-mail program and automatically addresses a message. This type of link is useful when you want a reader to be able to send you e-mail easily, such as feedback on your web.

In the Create Hyperlink dialog box, the Make a hyperlink that sends E-mail button opens the Create E–mail Hyperlink dialog box . You enter the desired e-mail address and FrontPage fills in the correct protocol, mailto, automatically.

Steps to creating a mailto hyperlink:

Open the page containing the text to which you want to link.

Drag to select the text you want to use to create a mailto link.

Select the Insert menu.

Select the Hyperlink command.
Click the Make a hyperlink that sends E-mail button.

Type the desired e-mail address.

Select OK.

Select OK.
