WebCT Login to Faculty Union Site
Instructions for Logging in to WebCT Faculty Union Site
Starting in Fall 2006, all active CCRI faculty Pipeline account information was uploaded into WebCT. This upload is repeated every semester. This means that all current faculty members automatically have a WebCT account ready for them and accessible to them using the same username and password used in Pipeline. If you don't know what your Pipeline username and password are, go to http://pipeline.ccri.edu and click on the red How to look-up your username link. If you have difficulty with your Pipeline username and password, please call the Help Desk at 825-1112 or e-mail them at: helpdesk@ccri.edu.
Although all CCRI faculty will automatically have a WebCT account, the Faculty Union site will still need to be added the first time you login. Once you have added the Faculty Union site to your WebCT account it will remain there for future access. To log in to your WebCT account:

Step 1Open your browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) on an Internet-connected computer. |

Step 2In the Address: or Location: box near the top of the screen, type in the following address: http://webct.ccri.edu and press the Enter key or the Go arrow. Note: There is also a WebCT button that is available from the CCRI homepage on the For Faculty and Staff page. |

Step 3Click on Log in to myWebCT link. |

Step 4Type in your Pipeline username as your WebCT ID (remember to use all lowercase). Type in your 6-digit Pipeline password as your Password Click on the grey Log in button |

Step 5The first time you log in you may also see a dialogue box asking if you'd like to save your password on the computer you are working on. If you share an office computer, you would choose No. However If you are on your home computer, you can answer Yes to save it. |

Step 6The fist time you log in to WebCT you may also be prompted to add a security question and answer. You can either add this information or click on the Cancel button to skip this. |

Step 7You are now in your myWebCT account but initially you still need to add the Faculty Union site. To access the choices in WebCT click on the Add Course button from the top menu bar. |

Step 8You will see the Faculty Union site on the Main page. Simply click on the pencil icon to the right of the Faculty Union under Self registration to add this site to your account. |

Step 9You will get a message that you have successfully added this site to your account. To access the surveys in the Faculty Union site, click on the grey Go to Course button That's It! |

Note: To complete the voting click on the voting icon and then on the link to the vote. Click on the grey Begin Survey button to open the questions. Remember to click on the Save Answer button after answering each question and then select Finish to submit your vote. |

Note: Once you have added the Faculty Union site to your WebCT, the link will remain in your account. To access it at another time, simply repeat the steps 1-4 above to log in to your WebCT account and then click on the link to the Faculty Union to access the site.
