How to Optimize Photos:
Instructions and Screenshots
Step 1

From the start menu go to All Programs, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Office Tools, and Microsoft Office Picture Manager.

Under File click Add Picture Shortcut and browse your computer to select a select a folder with pictures to be worked on.

After selecting, the folder will appear at left under Picture Shortcuts.

Click on the folder to display all pictures in that folder as thumbnails.

To display, double click the thumbnail that you wish to work on.

At the top right click on the arrow to the right of Getting Started.  In the drop down menu select Edit Pictures.

From the Edit Pictures menu you will be able to adjust the brightness and contrast, color, crop, rotate and flip, or remove red eye.

After you have edited the picture you can resize and compress the image for documents, web pages, and e-mail.

When you finish, save you're image.
